Tractor Trailer Crash - I270 NB Near New Design Rd

On March 7, 2013 at approximately 10:30 p.m., a tractor trailer traveling northbound on I-270 near New Design Rd crashed into the back of another tractor trailer causing extensive damage.

Traffic was stopped on I-270 due to another crash that had occurred a short time earlier.

Neither driver of the tractor trailers were injured. The highway remained closed while State Highway crews removed a large amount of oil that leaked onto the roadway.
