At approx. 1830 hours Box 31-02 was struck for a kitchen fire at 5696 Crabapple Drive. E311 arrived on side A with nothing evident and with there own water supply. C3-2 arrived and established Command on side A, once entry was made smoke was showing from the front as C3-2 did a circle check smoke was also showing from the rear. Command requested another Ambulance as Ambulance 319 was assigned the two out crew, E311 crew advanced 1 3/4 handline to the fire area, which was confined to the kitchen. Rescue Squad 3 arrived and assisted the interior crews with opening up and securing power to the structure.Engine 12 arrived and checked the exposure building with nothing found. E23 arrived and was assigned RIT and positioned on side A with Command. The fire was out within 5 minutes and the assignment was scaled back to 2 and 2 along with the Rescue Squad. The owner the only occupant was outside having short of breath, Command requested ALS for the owner and she was transported to FMH Pri.3. Command requested FM office for investigation, Command was terminated units were placed in service within 45 minutes. No other injuries were reported, and the scene turned over to the FM Office.
