A motorcycle crash late Friday evening sent one person to the trauma center in Baltimore with serious injuries.
The motorcycle was traveling north on Rt. 15 between S. Jefferson Street and Rt. 40 where it is believed that the motorcycle struck debris in the roadway causing the crash.
The motorcycle struck the guardrail and the driver and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was found in the roadway unconscious and was transported by Maryland State Police helicopter to a trauma center in Baltimore. The passenger received minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.
