Frederick County Swiftwater Task Force Quarterly Drill
When: Saturday November 19th, 2011 - 9am – until
Where: Dickerson - Flume
We will meet at Co.28 by 9am to complete the wavier forms and conduct a safety briefing. We will leave as a group and arrive as a group to the security gate.
This is a skills review drill
Throw bagging for victim in moving water
Self-rescue
Go-Rescues
Tensioned diagonals
Shallow water crossings
Inflatable boat rescues
Bring proper PPE (Dry Suit, thermal protection, helmet, gloves, footwear, PFDs, etc.), lunch/snack, water/hydration, change of dry clothes
You must provide your name (even if you only might attend) to Todd (SCUBA) Johnson or Peter Gorelick no later than Wednesday Nov. 16th since we need to provide a list of attendees to GenOn Mid-Atlantic LLC 2 days prior to the event (Thursday)
