Beginning Friday, traffic on South Street under the I-70 bridges will be shifted to allow crews to prepare for bridge construction. Barrels and concrete barrier walls will be in place to guide motorists through the lane shift before the morning commute. Traffic will be shifted several feet to the east; this pattern will be in place on South Street through winter 2012.
The overall project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2013, weather permitting.
