REICHS FORD ROAD TO HAVE LANE CLOSURE AT THE MONOCACY RIVER BRIDGE

March 1, 2011
The Frederick County Department of Construction Management and Inspection announced today that there will be a temporary closure of the east bound lane on Reichs Ford Road at the bridge over the Monocacy River. Instead of a detour route, there will be a portable traffic signal installed in order to safely direct traffic. The project will start on or about March 3 and will last for approximately three weeks, weather permitting. This will allow the contractor, Concrete General, to clean and paint the steel superstructure of the bridge.
