At appox. 1730hrs box 1-13 was dispatched for a residental house fire. While enroute ECC advised they recived several calls with fire on the second floor. Tower 1 arrived on scene with fire showing from the second floor windows. Crews immediately went to work pull hand lines and throwing ground ladders. RE-11 crew extinguished the fire in the second floor bedroom. The fire was under control within 10 minutes. The scene was turned over to the Maryland State Fire Marshal. Crews from Independents and Juniors remained on scene to assist the FM office in there investigation.
