At approx.1500 hours Engine 31 was alerted for an auto accident on I 70 at Ridge Road. Chief 3-2 arrived on the scene behind the first due units with a single vehicle into the guardrail and clipping a flatboy all occupants were out of the vehicle and Command was established. Command advised a total of 3 patients 1 ALS and 2 BLS requesting a third BLS unit for transport. Rescue Engine 11 worked on fluid control from the vehicle involved and Engine 31 along with Engine 122 assisted with patient packaging. Command was terminated units were released within 30 minutes, the injured was transported to area hospitals one being Washington County Trauma Center. Maryland State Police was on scene with the investigation.
