At approx. 0630hrs units from Station's 3 and 20 (Jefferson) were dispatched for a MVC w/possible entrapment on RT 340 east of Mt. Zion Road. A209 along with M20 arrived on the scene with a two vehicle rear end collision with one vehicle off the road. E31 arrived and confirmed 1 trapped and deployed the front bumper line for protection, C3-2 arrived and established RT 340 Command. RS20 arrived and stabilized the vehicle and removed the drivers door to gain access to the patient. Command reported patient extricated and transported to Washington County Trauma Center for treatment, A38 received a refusal from the occupant of the second vehicle. Command was terminated and units were placed in service, scene turned over to MSP for investigation.
