Just after lunch Co.3 was alerted for the crash on Jefferson st. at RT15. Duty 3 arrived first to find 2 vehicles with one occupant still inside. Upon further investigation the occupant was trapped and having trouble breathing with chest pain. Command was established and a medic unit was added to the call. Rescue squad 3 arrived moments later lead by Lt. Schultz and stablized the car and preformed a third door converstion by removing the B post while also removing the passenger side door and passenger side rear door. The extrication took only about 20 minutes. Crews did a outstanding job. The patient was taken by ground to WCH Trauma for a eval via PM319.
