The day started off mid morning with a garbage truck on fire. Engine 31 arrived to find a load of garbage on fire dumped in the middle of progress drive. Once the driver noticed his load was on fire he pulled the dump leaver and laid the garbage in the middle of the road to keep his truck from becoming involved. Engine 31 arrived pulled a 1-3/4 bumper line and knocked the fire. A loader was requested from a near by construction site to spread the garbage out so the fire could be completely extinguished
