Just before midnight, Co.12 and 3 were dispatched for a vehicle on fire in the area of I70 at the 48MM. E122 arrived on the scene with the vehicle located on I70 West of Rt40 in the East Bound Lane and reported fire in the engine compartment. E31 and C3-2 arrived on scene, the crew from E31 assisted E122 with extinguishment, fire was contained to the engine compartment and units returned to service. MSP was on scene assisting the owner of the vehicle, no injuries were reported from the occupants.
