At approx. 1700 hours a structure assignment was dispatched in Co.14 area off Route 85 for a shed on fire. C14-1 was the first to arrive with a 1 1/2 story shed 20x20 with heavy smoke and fire showing, C14-1 established the "Route 85 Command" and requested additional assistance, which brought several other units from station 3. C3-2 arrived and was assigned Operations division and assisted E311 with fire attack, and checking fire extension. Quint 14 started opening up the fire building along with placing a vent hole in the roof. Operations advised bulk of fire knocked down, holding all units to assist with overhaul and assisting the County FM. E31 and RS3 arrived and worked on the interior to find hot spots and to continue to open up the fire building. Command advised fire out, placing units in service and scene turned over to the County FM for investigation.
