Units from Company 20 were alerted for the MVA with entrapment on Jefferson Pike at Holter Road. Assistant Chief 20 first on scene with a dump truck versus car, with the dump truck on top of the car and two occupants pinned. Command was established and requested Marks Equipment for a large tow truck as well as aviation and special response Rescue Squad 3 for a second squad. The crews from Rescue Squad 20 and Rescue Squad 3 worked together removing the doors and the roof to free the patients. With both patients extricated in 20 minutes they were flown by helicopters to hospitals.
