Wal-Mart along with Provident Bank held a kids day at the Frederick Wal-Mart on Guilford Drive. Personnel from United Fire Company, Frederick County Sheriff's Office, and Frederick Memorial Hospital were on hand to assist Provident Bank with this event. Hospital personnel, Sheriff's Office, and Department of Fire and Rescue personnel were conducting Car Safety Seat inspections while other units from United Fire Company and the Department of Fire and Rescue offered tours of the Ambulance and Fire Truck. Fire prevention and education materials were handed out along with information from the Sheriff's Office. Provident Bank provided refreshments for all of the patrons of Wal-Mart as well. The day was well attended by the public.
