| Why did you join the fire department? |
I became interested through the scouts. My uncle was a driver for United Fire Company and my father was a member at Junior Fire Company and a driver for Citizens Truck Company. He was also a firefighter with the Fort Detrick Fire Department, I guess you can say it was in my blood. |

| What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the fire department? |
Traveling, cruising, golf, trap and skeet shooting, fishing, and making the best of my retirement. |

| What do you like best about being part of the fire department? |
Being able to help other people, the friends you make, and the satisfaction it brings you. |

| What is your most memorable incident? |
There are many but the YMCA fire is one that stands out. |
