Why did you join the fire department?

I first became interested in the fire service when I was 14 and my neighbors barn caught fire. I spent the night helping hump hose in the cold, wet weather. I was hooked right then and there.

What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the fire department?

Riding my motorcycle, hunting, fishing, scuba diving

What is your most memorable incident?

There are so many. Riding the seat of the engine and pulling up to the old truck stop motel to find fire blowing out the rear. Wrecks big and small, mountain fires, handling landing zones for the President.
