Vehicle Leaves Roadway After Collision

Company 3 units were dispatched for a vehicle collision on East Patrick Street at Bowman's Farm Road. Sheriffs' Department units were on the scene reporting a two vehicle collision with one vehicle off the roadway down over the embankment. Chief 3-2 arrived on the scene confirming two vehicle collision with one vehicle off the roadway down over the embankment. Chief 3-2 perfuming a quick assessment determining no entrapment. Occupant of the vehicle on the roadway was uninjured. Rescue Squad 3, Engine 31 and Ambulance 38 arrived on the scene. Crews worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle that left the roadway. Subject in that vehicle was treated, packaged and removed for further evaluation by EMS. Frederick County's Advance Life Support was also on the scene to evaluate the subject. Subject was treated on the scene and transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Maryland State Police, Frederick County Sheriffs' Office, and Maryland State Highway Department remained on the scene.
