Crash on Route 355 sends 4 to the Hospital

In the early evening of April 11th units from Station 23(Urbana) along with Rescue Squad 3 were dispatched for an accident on Route 355 and Araby Church Road. First arriving Ambulance 239 advised a two vehicle accident with occupants still in the vehicle. Engine 231 arrived and established Route 355 Command and requested 2 additional BLS units to assist along with a medic unit for possible head injury. Rescue Squad 3 arrived and stabilized both vehicles for patient removal, C3-2 assisted Command. Once the vehicles were stabilized the Rescue Squad crew assisted with Patient packaging and providing care to the injured. All injured parties were transported to Area hospitals and the Pri.2 Trauma was transported to Suburban Trauma Center in Montgomery County. Command was terminated units were placed in service.
