| An early evening fire destroyed a house located in the 4200 block of Buckeystown Pike.
A 37 year-old occupant was burned trying to save a puppy from the fire. No one else was home at the time. The occupant was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to a burn center where his current condition is unknown.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Frederick County Fire Marshal's Office.
Buckeystown Pike was closed for a few hours while fire and rescue personnel extinguished the fire. |
