Working Fire In The 2-1 Box Area

At approx. 1530hrs, Box 2-1 was dispatched for the house on fire in the area of West Seventh Street and Schley Avenue. Chief 2-2 arrived and reported a working fire with correct address of 641 Schley Avenue, Chief 2-2 established Command on side A and also reported a two story single family dwelling with fire on side B of the structure. E12 arrived and advanced one 1 3/4 handline for fire attack as Truck 50 opened up for the Engine Company. Command reported fire knocked down as units were checking for extension on the interior of the structure. Command reported all interior levels clear of extension, with extension in area of fire, Command held two and one, placing all other units in service. Command requested Allegheny power and county FM for investigation. Command was terminated and remaining units were placed in service, no injuries were reported.
