| At approx. 0800 hours units were dispatched for an auto accident with possible entrapment. While enroute Maryland State Police went on the scene with a three vehicle accident with one trapped. A238 was first EMS unit on scene and provided care for the trapped occupant, E231 stretched a protection line for the extrication. Chief 3-2 arrived on the scene and assumed Command, Rescue Squad 3 along with E311 crew worked together with the stabilization of the vehicle and the removal of the roof to free the trapped occupant. Once extrication was complete which was done in approx. 10 minutes, Maryland State Police Trooper 3 transported two Priority 2 trauma patients to area trauma center. Command was terminated units were placed in service, MSP remained on the scene to continue the investigation. |
