| Engine Tanker 34 visited and assisted the METLIFE blimp this afternoon at the Frederick Airport. The blimp is using the airport as a base of operations while participating in the AT&T National hosted by Tiger Woods. The golf competition is taking place in the Metro Area. Personnel from United Fire Company were pleased to have the opportunity to meet and greet the blimp staff and extend a warm welcome to Frederick. The blimp should be in town for the next couple of days and will be lit up with lights at night. Anyone in the area is encouraged to stop by for a visit. |
