At approx. 1355hrs, Ambulance 39, Rescue Squad 3, Medic 2 and EMS 901 were dispatched for a possible cardiac arrest at 208 Phebus Ave. Soon after dispatch Box 3-2 was dispatched for a possible apartment fire at the same location as the medical call that was just dispatched moments before. C3-2 along with Co.3 units arrived on the scene with a 2 story apartment building and nothing evident from the Alpha side of the building, C3-2 established Command as crew's investigated. Command reported that a ground level apartment sustained moderate damage from a fire and the fire had burned completely out prior to units arriving on scene. Command also reported a single occupant of the apartment was found in the bedroom and had succumb to injuries. The scene was turned over to the Frederick City Police Department, along with County and State FM Office for investigation. Command was terminated and units were placed in service.
