Crash Sends Two To FMH

Company 31 and 3 units were dispatched to southbound I-270 @ I-70 for a reported vehicle collision with possible entrapment. While responding, Emergency Communications Center advised units that the crash was possibly south of Route 85. Company 31 units arrived on the scene of a two car rear end collision with what appeared to be all occupants out of the vehicles. Patients on the scene were evaluated by EMS personnel along with Frederick County's Advanced Life Support personnel. Two patients were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Crews assisted with traffic control prior to the arrival of the State Highway Administration's Emergency Patrol units. The collision is being handled by the Maryland State Police.
